Privacy Statement

Higher Care Services respects your privacy. We handle your personal and health information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic) and, where we deliver services in NSW, the HRIP Act 2002 (NSW), together with our NDIS obligations.

We collect only the information needed to plan, deliver and review your supports safely, claim payment, and meet our legal duties. We share it only with your consent, with people involved in your supports (such as the NDIA, the NDIS Commission or your health professionals), or where the law requires. We never sell your information. Records are held securely and retained for at least seven years.

You may access and correct your information at any time, and we will support your decision-making. If you have a concern, tell us — anonymously if you prefer — or contact the OAIC (1300 363 992), the Victorian Health Complaints Commissioner (1300 582 113) or the NDIS Commission (1800 035 544). Interpreters (TIS: 131 450), the National Relay Service (1800 555 660). Alternative formats, including Easy Read, are available upon request.
